As Nanki-Poo in The Mikado
James Watts, Tulsa World, June 2005

"Ranson as Nanki-Poo...has an air of nobility around him—even his singing has a kind of stately, noble tone to it."

As Ferrando in Cosi fan tutte
Jerome R. Sehulster, The Stamford Advocate, June 1998

"Andrew Ranson’s Ferrando was sincere. [His] lovely
light tenor graced every note he touched and he
winningly threw himself into his part."

As Strephon in Iolanthe
Jerome R. Sehulster, The Stamford Advocate, April 1997

"The lovers, Strephon and Phyllis were handsome
indeed. Andrew Ranson, tall and athletic,...was very
smooth, very sincere, and seamless in voice."
